Suggestions for provisioning connectivity to my server & office devices in home office shed w/ no ethernet connectivity?

Moving my home office from the kitchen to the brick shed (used to be a laundry / utility room) that sits outside the house. It's cooler and offers me more space / privacy for what I need. Bigger desk, room for a printer, and of course moving the Esprimo Q556/2 I use for media / NAS in there.

The shed itself is a laundry / utility room that until recently was the living space of a pet, which passed away from old age. With that in mind, the homeowner has said it's essentially mine to do with as I please. Going to spend this weekend cleaning it up and probably look at putting some new floor in. The rest of it is ready to go tbh!K North East so we get all 5 seasons, wind rain sun rain snow. Shed was previously used for a ferret. It's got a felt roof + guttering for run off and such, doesn't get damp or leak etc so it's about as suitable as I can say.

The only catch is, for the time being, I have no means of getting a direct network connection in there. In the kitchen corner sits the router + my current desk, with all of my devices patches directly into it. I don't have that luxury in the shed.

My LONG TERM plan is that when Openreach eventually get around to delivering FTTP, I will probably ask them to run the fiber into the shed, and then have a direct connection to the router there & extend the network into the house via Mesh Wifi. The reason being while I manage the ISP contract, it's not my house, and the homeowner (my partner's parents) doesn't want any more drilling done in after they've done their decorations.

My SHORT TERM plan is that I will have to look at a decent solution for getting network connectivity that I can patch my devices to a router / switch via ethernet. That seems to either be:

  • Powerline adapter with power passthrough - I'm told this is a hit or miss solution, either "it works for me" or "dont ever use its bad and never reliable" but MoCa is NOT an option for me The shed is on the same circuit as the kitchen where the router is. I also only have one socket in there, so I would essentially have to run my devices off a socket extension connected to the adapter's passthrough socket, not sure if that will cause issues or not.
  • Wireless Bridge - this seems to be the more "reliable" solution - essentially setting up a router / suitable appliance to act as a wireless bridge to the router. I'm open to this because there isn't a massive distance between the kitchen router + the
  • To note - my current max internet speed is theoretically 60mbps due to being FTTC and not FTTP, although in practice it's usually 45-50mbps from ethernet direct to the router and 35-40mbps over WiFi (sat next to the router I mean, I've had diff results in the same day). Wireless connectivity between the shed and the router is actually about the same speed as next to the router so I don't think it's the worst
  • I am the ONLY person in the house with a need for ethernet connectivity to the primary router- everyone else uses Wireless
