0.6 vs 0.4 Nozzle

0.6 vs 0.4 Nozzle

I printed the same file on two systems, (a coral) the left is a 0.6nozzle, right is a 0.4nozzle.

The 0.6 nozzle has tons of stringing, while the 0.4 nozzle had almost none.

The first layer is better with the 0.4nozzle, but after three layers both were very good.

The fuzzy skin looks a bit better with the 0.4nozzle, but only if you zoom in super close.

The 0.6nozzle print took 5hr50min (231g), the 0.4nozzle print took 7hr4min (192g).

The two systems were FLSUN SR, and the slicer was Cura.

Noctua desk fan.

Noctua desk fan.

I had this pretty nice Noctua case fan lying around for ages because it doesn't fit into my PC, so I decided to turn it into a pretty nice desk fan instead.

I also added this potentiometer to control the fan and a 5V to 12V step up converter so I could power the whole thing with USB. The corner had to be sacrificed to make space for said potentiometer.

And yes, I had to cad that knob.

I designed a phone and watch charger that clamps to my monitor mount and has built in cable management.

I designed a phone and watch charger that clamps to my monitor mount and has built in cable management.

I designed this to simplify my desk setup. I incorporated a channel in the arm for the low profile 90 degree usb c cable’s unique shape. The clamp part also has a channel to help manage the cable. I actually added the watch portion after “completing” the project. I built in a small channel for the watch charger cable as well.

Spare Table Mount

Spare Table Mount

I got a new side and had this table left taking up space. I figured I would use as an additional work table to process prints when needed instead of tossing it to the curb. So, I mounted it to the wall . You slide up into the mount on top then drop down to the mount at the bottom. It is snug to the wall.

Vegetable Trellis T-Connection Update!

Had a couple of questions regarding what the function of this print was on a previous post. Working through a way to support tomato plants with these garden posts. Made a flexible flat print T connection joint.

The impromptu trellis allows me to string up the veggies which provides stability during stormy weather. Printed in PLA

a watch hanger that clips onto IKEA wall shelf

Once I had a printed watch holder on which where you wrap the watch around. I didn’t like how it took up a lot of space so I designed a clip which hangs onto the IKEA Fryksas shelf and now I just slide the watch in or out in a single motion. Let me know what you guys think of it
