PS5, PS4 Retro Shooter Neon Inferno Really Doesn't Need to Look This Awesome

20 Julio 2025 at 12:30

Run 'n' gun.

These new retro-themed releases don’t always need to go so darn hard, but we love it when they do.

Take the upcoming Neon Inferno, which is due out on 2nd October for both PS5 and PS4. It kinda reminds us of SNES classic Wild Guns, with your character on screen while you gun down larger-than-life bad guys.

19 Julio 2025 at 09:30

A little bit of this, a little bit of that.

Will the heat ever subside? It's roasting out there, and our DualSense feels like it's been melting in our hands of late. Still, we'll be rubbing down our pads this weekend and playing the following games.

Aaron Bayne

This weekend I'll be flitting between the new Destiny 2 expansion, Edge of Fate, and wrapping up RoboCop: Rogue City Unfinished Business.

Poll: 5 Years Later, What Do You Think of Ghost of Tsushima?

18 Julio 2025 at 17:00

Fight with honour.

Five years ago today (well, technically yesterday — sorry we're a bit late on this one), Sony released Ghost of Tsushima as a PS4 exclusive.

A real departure from the inFAMOUS games in terms of style and tone, Ghost of Tsushima was PlayStation Studios' Sucker Punch expressing its love for all things samurai cinema. Featuring a gorgeous Japanese setting and deadly blade-based battles, the open world title would quickly become a fan favourite.

With Over 215 Million Sales, GTA 5 Is Finally Releasing in Two New Regions

18 Julio 2025 at 14:00

Saudi Arabia and UAE get official launches.

Grand Theft Auto V is 12 years old and has sold more than 215 million copies, but as of today, it is officially a brand new release in two regions: Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The game was unable to receive an official, legal release in the two territories due to a ban on the depiction of drug use, violence, and sex. Fans got around this restriction by importing physical copies and buying it on a different region's PS Store, but now an official release carrying a 21+ age rating is available.

Don't Expect Ghost of Tsushima, Jin Sakai References in PS5 Sequel Ghost of Yotei

18 Julio 2025 at 12:00

"Its very much its own story".

Any references to Ghost of Tsushima and its protagonist Jin Sakai will be at a premium, it appears, in the PS5 follow-up Ghost of Yotei.

The sequel is set just under 300 years after Ghost of Tsushima, so Jin will be long dead by the beginning of the revenge-focused events in Ghost of Yotei. Still, Jin could have distant family relatives alive three centuries later. However, Sucker Punch has seemingly ruled out this actually materialising into a plot point in the follow-up.

Street Fighter's Dhalsim Is, Like, Super Sexy Now

17 Julio 2025 at 23:00

Yoga fire.

Dhalsim is among the most famous faces in Street Fighter’s roster, but we don’t think we’d ever describe him as hot.

His spindly limbs, skull necklace, and – in Street Fighter 6, at least – thick white beard make him more mysterious than mouth-watering. (Depending on what you’re into, of course! No judgement here!)

There's More to Ghost of Yotei's Story Than Its Revenge Quest

17 Julio 2025 at 19:45

"Her quest for revenge is the start".

It appears the plot in PS5's Ghost of Yotei has more up its sleeve than just the revenge quest to hunt down the Yotei Six that killed Astu's family.

In a new interview with GamesRadar, the premise Sucker Punch Productions has led with up until now is described as only the "start". Nate Fox said: "We don't want to give away story details, but I can tell you that her quest for revenge is the start – absolutely not the whole thing – but it's a great start."
