It's pretty cool what Microsoft has done here

It's pretty cool what Microsoft has done here

You can buy a mouse module (or other stuff) and print the rest of the mouse yourself. They supply STEP files of attachments for the mouse which you can print of customise to your liking. Even cooler would be, if they would sell you professionally printer housings for $10 or whatever and give you the option to print it yourself if you want. But it's a step in the right direction nevertheless.

There's a hole in my bucket, dear Lisa, dear Lisa.....

How frustrating is it that when you're in the middle of modifying a printer, you realise you need a 3D printed part for that upgrade....that you can only print with the 3D printer you're in the middle of modifying?

Just finished my first multicolour print

Just finished my first multicolour print

I've just finished removing the supports from this print and I'm amazed at what printers can do! Just under a 20 hour print and it's amazing. There's a bit of bleeding from the red into the purple, and I think I maybe should have used some variable layers or a lower layer height overall, but I'm still super impressed with it!

TPU Darth Vade Rubber Duck

TPU Darth Vade Rubber Duck

I'm impressed how good this printed without support but it do has some flaws. Could you even print tpu with supports or will they be to strongly attached? The helmet part was really wobbly while printing.

I made this model of Mini Christmas trees

I made this model of Mini Christmas trees

I made a set of small cute christmas trees. Modeled them in Fusion 360. If you want to print them yourself you can find them via this link: https://makerworld.com/models/806791. Happy printing! Thanks!

Pushing my 0.8mm nozzle to the limit: 0.7mm layer height

Pushing my 0.8mm nozzle to the limit: 0.7mm layer height

I'm currently seeing if it will successfully print 0.75mm layers, but this is completely destroying the rules of 3D-printing saying that you don't want to go further than 80% of nozzle size
