I bought a Prusa MK4 (now s) about a year ago. I've printed tools, fishing jig molds, night lights, etc... But my ticket garden brings me the most joy. I'm to the point where I'm probably going to have to start modeling some for myself. And start painting some (or upgrade to mmu3). I hope someone enjoys this picture just a little bit. Here's my experimental Delta 3D printer printing a sword blade in a single piece. It uses remote flying cooling fans and an elongated vertical extruder for extra rigidity. [link] [comments] |

Found a sweet deal on what I thought was 5 x 1kg spools. Came to less than $10/kg. Ended up being 1 x 5kg spool. Still a heck of a deal. Now I just have to figure out how to print from it. I'm not sure the side-mounted spool holder on my K1 Max is rated for 5 kg... [link] [comments] |
This is not my disign, this is Sillybutts SLAB design, you can find his stuff for free on printables and the parts kit was bought through Out Of Darts. My nickname of this blaster is "The Ghost" it shoots half length darts at ~130 fps, it is 90% 3D printed. I used clear elegoo filament to print this on a Weefun Tina2s, the bed volume is 11cm x 12cm x 10cm, I had to take the bigger parts in Onshape and put dove tails in them and glue them later so I could fit it on my bed. After i posted my experiments a little while ago with finding the maximum layer height i could achieve, someone suggested printing Palpatine as a hologram with a transparent filament. One placed order and a couple of days of waiting, I can now let you know that it sure does look great [link] [comments] |

These are two separate prints. Bottom one is a standard size benchy. Amazing how small you can get a benchy with a 0.25mm nozzle! [link] [comments] |
