A very cool and useful print, this is my dragon yarn bowl with holes for tools. I hope you like it :)

This is just a post to tell so many of you that I am totally impressed with your creativity, skill and persistence.
I don't make prints because I don't own a machine, but this forum along with others similar to this one are a constant source of amazement.
I am completly convinced that many of you could have a steady stream of side income just using your talents solving every day problems. If they bug you enough to come up with a solution and make a print, there are probably a 1000 people out there that have the same problem, but lack the talent that you possess.
My daughter is growing fast and I need to adjust her seat height: this is where it gets annoying when you couldn't find the right allenkey wrench. A couple minutes now it will always be there. [link] [comments] |
New 3d printed rehousing (case) design So a while back I posted a 3d printed lens rehousing, since then I’ve designed my own, the new design is a 95mm diameter, 82mm filter and has focus and aperture marks in both sides and different colours, the finish still isn’t perfect but it’s the best I can get it now So for some context vintage photography lenses are very sought after in the cinematography world, they offer a cheap alternative to modern cinema lenses and can offer “character” that is sought after, for example the Dune movies and the Batman was shot on “re-housed” Soviet photography lenses True rehousing is dissembling the lenses and reconstructing it in a new body as well as doing some optical corrections, now this is a service that can cost thousands per lens and wait times are years from the few companies that do so This design is more so a “case” that slips over the original lens and offers almost nearly identical performance with out any dissembling. Again not a true rehousing but it offer nearly the exact same function I plan to do this to my super takumar 105mm f2.8, with matching aperture and focus gears and also a 95mm diameter and 82mm filter Planning to do this to the 35mm, 24mm and 85 mm and have a full takumar prime kit for a fraction of buying a brand new cine prime kit [link] [comments] |

My cat likes to get into the bedroom closet late at night. Because my door is flush to the track, I couldn’t use existing designs. Made this to keep pressure on the hinge so she can’t paw it open. Working great so far! [link] [comments] |
I 3d printed a vehicle mount for an IWB holster. The "hinge" prints in place and has a magnetic clasp! Holds the pistol securely. Better than sitting on it or rattling around in the center console. [link] [comments] |
My first functional print design and it shows. Currently, the socks that the rail wheel is sitting in is flexing down, so I do expect it to break sooner rather than later. I added a support (which unfortunately looks NSFW-ish) but it doesn’t do much. Still, happy wife for now till it breaks again! [link] [comments] |
Took me a while to figure out the perfect design for the "floating" part. Some of the earlier designs resembled a face (with the eyes being screw covers and the mouth being the shelf itself). I'm super happy with how it ended up though! Let me know what you think! [link] [comments] |
Printed in ASA for bars and TPU grips. Son is stoked on the new handlebars for when he's on the shotgun seat.
No more stacked pot stands, no more chance for people to place stuff on top of all three stands! Then you are cooking and need to grab one quickly but there’s something heavy on top of the stack. Gives me the nerves all the time, so I got rid of that. [link] [comments] |
