Vista Normal
Got it in one: Ikea HEMNES cup holder that slides on over the arm
Trash bag dispenser for Sam’s Club/Costco 13 gallon bags
Got sick of putting shoes on to run to the shelves where the box o’ bags was stored so I printed this! No room under the sink so it went in the garage right next to the door. [link] [comments] |

Guitar Pick That I'll Never Drop Again
I made this guitar pick because I keep dropping my ones and it costs like $0.01 to print. I made it with a grip pattern which noticeably makes it more grippy and it has the same flexibility as my picks. Its 0.5mm thick and takes about 6 min to print with my print profile. You can print it here: [link] [comments] |
Small shovel…
Dropped the kief scraper that came with my grinder down the drain, printed something better.

Emery Tape Dispenser
My dog ate the dispenser box that came with my emery tape. Luckily, she didn’t eat the emery tape. So, I got to work and made a new box. Magnets keep the lid down. Made the hinges myself. The tube (my husband insists on calling it a “spindle” screws together once you load it. It slides into the box. There is a baby hacksaw blade as the cutter. You have to pull hard to tear the cloth, but you did on the original too. [link] [comments] |
Microphone holder
This is my first attempt at designing something in Bambu studio. Still haven't figured out which modeling software I'm going to use when I actually start getting into things. Wish that I had set it a little further away from the wall so that the mics weren't touching. Also wish the holes were a little bit bigger but I understand scaling a little bit better now thanks to this. I had to make the screw holes large enough that it didn't Pierce through to the other side of these cheap Ikea shelves, so that actually required measuring a I had to make the screw holes large enough that it didn't Pierce through to the other side of these cheap Ikea shelves, so that actually required measuring a bunch more than I thought. Right after I put it in my girlfriend said wood nails have worked and I realized I probably should have gone that route instead of screws. But oh well. It works and I was actually surprised that there wasn't anything like this in the maker world app. [link] [comments] |
- Functional 3D Printing
- I designed this strong and durable reversible ratcheting driver. Designed with "It must be strong and actually work" in mind. It is a tool, not a toy. In fact it can drive a screw into a particle board, MDF etc. without any issues ^^

First selfmade 3D Model - Folding chair feet
I found some old chairs in the basement that need some love. After some tinkering I finally had the opportunity to print something actually useful and managed to design the set of feed myself using tinkercad. The legs do have different angles (roughly 65° front feet and 75° back feed) and a small hole on the bottom. I designed them so that they can clip around the tube and do not need any glue. To protect the floor even more I added some protective pads. The feeling of actually using the 3d printer for useful stuff is amazing. Let's see how they manage abusive use over Christmas. https://makerworld.com/de/models/907108#profileId-867333 Cheers! [link] [comments] |

Small but functional
I'm always leaving my carbon steel and cast iron pans in the oven after drying, and my wife would preheat it and not know the pan was inside. So I made this small reminder with an embedded magnet out of TPU so that we'll both remember before we turn the oven on. I put it right next to the oven controls when there's a pan in the oven. Herman Miller Slatwall
I have this slat wall that hangs trays in my office cubicle, and wanted to see what this type of hanging mechanism is called, as I seem to be having difficulty looking up 3D prints that would fit into these slots and let me create custom layouts. I found a few shelves on thingiverse and they categorize it as a slat wall, but the models I’ve found use the slotting part upwards instead of downward. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
