The House of The Dead 2: Remake estrena Demo en Steam - Requisitos Oficiales The House of The Dead 2: Remake llegará a PC y NSW el 7 de Agosto - Trailer de Gameplay

Acerca de The House of the Dead 2

Internet Sleuths Think Super Smash Bros., Donkey Kong 64, And More Are Headed To Nintendo Switch Online

The Nintendo internet sleuths are at it again! In late May, Nintendo released a brief video detailing some of the new features coming to Nintendo Switch Online's Nintendo 64 offerings--which included a CRT filter, rewind feature, and more. However, that video may have contained more news than it seems, and a group of intrepid Internet users think they've cracked the code--and revealed a few new games that may be on their way to the NSO N64 service.

Via IGN, a group of fans led by vtuber Imakuni have analyzed the blurry cover-art images shown at the 40-second mark in the video below. By enhancing those blurred images and comparing them to images of Nintendo 64 cover art, the group thinks they've unearthed five N64 games that aren't on the Nintendo Switch Online service yet--but could be coming soon.

The five games the group thinks they've discovered are as follows:

Final Fantasy 9 Anniversary Video Refuels Rumors Of A Remake

In September 2021, a massive leak at Nvidia revealed multiple then-unannounced projects, and as years have passed since the leak, all but one of the leaked titles associated with Square Enix has been officially confirmed. That one is a remake of Final Fantasy IX, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary today--and Square Enix has commemorated the milestone by fueling those remake rumors with a new anniversary video.

Via VGC, the minute-long video--set to the iconic song Melodies of Life from the FFIX soundtrack--runs through key moments from the ninth Final Fantasy adventure, with shots of main characters Zidane, Garnet, Vivi, and more peppered throughout. The video ends with new artwork of the team, with the words "Final Fantasy IX 25th Anniversary" included.

The video has intensified the rumors of a remake which began with the Nvidia leak, with many wondering if the project is still in development. Prominent leaker NateTheHate, in a comment on a ResetEra thread about the video, mentioned that, perhaps, the remake may no longer be coming.

1,455-Piece Lego Lion King Set Is Over 50% Off This Week

Target's Circle Week sale has several outstanding deals on Disney Lego sets, but the best offer is on the Young Simba display model. This 1,445-piece Lion King Lego set is on sale for a best-ever price of $64.39 (was $130) for Target Circle members. To get the deal, you simply need to sign up for the free rewards program.

On Target's site, Young Simba looks like a 30% discount due to the retailer listing the MSRP as $92, but Lego's actual retail price for Young Simba is $130, which means you're saving over 50% with this deal. Amazon and Walmart are offering the 20% discount that drops the price to $92, but needless to say, you should grab Target's deal before it sells out. It's unlikely to remain in stock for the full sale, which ends July 12 and is competing with Amazon Prime Day 2025 this week.

Skyrim 3-Book Hardcover Collection Is Only $44 At Amazon For Prime Day

The world of Skyrim felt alive when players first ventured into it, and a mountain of discoverable texts helped add to its immersion. Normally, you'd have to travel all over the province to find every piece of parchment, but if you don't have that much time to do so, then you can sit back with The Skyrim Library Box Set for some quality reading. This compiles all of the collected texts into a trio beautifully illustrated hardcover books. The Skyrim Library is available at Amazon for a dragon-sized discount right now.

As part of Amazon's early Prime Day 2025 book sale, Elder Scrolls fans can get this $110 collection for only $44.79. Just make sure to click the $12 coupon below the price on Amazon's store page to get the full discount at checkout.

The Skyrim Library: Volumes 1-3 Box Set (Hardcover)

$44.79 with coupon (was $110)

Released back in 2017, this is a collection of three hardcover books with every piece of text from the game. The lore and historical texts are enhanced by beautiful illustrations, so if you ever wanted to have the full story on the game's factions, landscapes, and creatures, then this is a must-have for a Skyrim fan.

The other nice thing about this collection is the presentation, as the slipcase cover is designed to mimic one of the dusty old books found in a forgotten corner of Skyrim. It has a foldout cover with a giant mural of Alduin, the ferocious dragon who serves as the main villain in the game.

Publishers Pitch Sony on Adding Retro Classics to PS Plus

That's how Battle Engine Aquila got added.

Exactly how do new retro titles get selected for PS Plus Premium? It’s a question we’ve been pondering for a while, as the rollout has been mixed since the service started a few years ago.

While we’ve seen obvious first-party titles like Sly Cooper and Ape Escape added to the service, there’s so many all-time classics missing – especially when you consider Sony’s emulator now spans PS1, PS2, and PSP.

Gunslingin' Shooter Call of Juarez Rumoured to Be Revived After Over a Decade

Rootin' tootin'.

Call of Juarez probably isn’t the first franchise that springs to mind when you think of first-person shooters, but this author has fond memories of Techland’s gunslingin’ series.

The 2009 sequel Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood was a truly underrated Western escapade on the PS3, and its smaller scale 2013 reboot Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was even better. (We don’t talk about the modern day spin-off Call of Juarez: The Cartel, although even that wasn’t as bad as its legacy would lead you to believe.)

Final Fantasy 9 Celebrates 25th Anniversary, But the Rumoured Remake Is Nowhere to Be Seen

Just a Fantasy.

Widely regarded to be one of the absolute best games in the series — and perhaps one of the greatest RPGs ever made — Final Fantasy 9 celebrates its 25th Anniversary today (the 7th July).

Back in 2000, the PS1 title was something of a throwback to the older, more traditional fantasy stylings of the franchise. After Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8, both of which featured more technologically advanced settings, 9 was a much more whimsical adventure.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4's PS5, PS4 Trophies Look Like Less of a Grind Than 1 + 2

Manual labour.

The Trophy list for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 has popped up online, and upon inspection, it looks like it won't be quite as tough as the previous game's list.

Don't get us wrong, the game's Platinum gong will still be pretty hard to obtain, but some of the more grindy Trophies in THPS 1 + 2 aren't present, so it shouldn't cause quite so many headaches.

New Criterion Collection 4K Remaster Of Kubrick's Barry Lyndon Is 50% Off, Releases July 8

Stanley Kubrick fans can save big on Criterion's 4K UHD remaster of Barry Lyndon, one of the iconic director's best films, ahead of Prime Day 2025. The 4K restoration of the historical drama doesn't release until this Tuesday, July 8, but a limited-time deal at Amazon drops the price from $50 to $25. Barry Lyndon is one of many Criterion Collection 4K Blu-rays featured in the ongoing 50% off movie sale. While the annual sale often includes new and recently released films, preorders aren't always eligible for the discount.

Unsurprisingly, Barry Lyndon has vaulted up Amazon's bestseller charts. At the time of writing, the retailer estimates orders placed now won't arrive until July 22. With a two-week wait time and the current order volume, it wouldn't be surprising if Amazon stopped taking preorders soon. If you're interested in adding Barry Lyndon to your collection at this price, it'd be wise to secure a copy prior to launch.

Classic '80s Sci-Fi Series Knight Rider Releases On 4K Blu-Ray This Month

If there's one constant in life, it's that Knight Rider will always be cool. The popular TV series from the '80s had it all, as it featured David Hasselhoff in the lead role alongside KITT, the car everyone wanted in their garage. And who could forget that killer intro? That was a recipe for success, and if you'd like to return to the era of tight jeans and turbo-boost buttons, we have good news for you: Every episode of Knight Rider will soon be available on 4K Blu-ray. Knight Rider: The Complete Series is available to preorder for $130 at Amazon ahead of its July 22 release.

Knight Rider: The Complete Series on 4K Blu-ray

$130 | Releases July 22

Knight Rider: The Complete Series includes 4K remasters of all 90 episodes from the show's four-season run (1982-86). It also com es with Knight Rider 2000, the 1991 made-for-TV movie that was originally conceived as a pilot episode for a new Knight Rider show that never came to fruition.

The other big draw here will be the brand-new hour-long documentary Knight Rider: Behind the Wheel, as it contains interviews with cast and crew from the series. It's a detailed look at the show, as it reveals stories about the iconic stunts that were performed. the cutting-edge tech used to make KITT come alive, and the cultural impact of Knight Rider.

Additionally, there are several more behind-the-scenes interviews, commentary tracks with Hasselhoff, and more included here.If you're unfamiliar with the series, Knight Rider followed Michael Knight, a field agent for the Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG). Assisted by KITT, a Pontiac Trans Am equipped with a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and enough gadgets to make Batman jealous, Knight would tour the country and any crime that they encountered.

Knight Rider is already available on standard Blu-ray and DVD, but it's very cool to see a show from the 1980s get a 4K UHD release, as it's not all that common (yet).

The Witcher Novel Box Set Is Steeply Discounted For Prime Day

Amazon's Early Prime Day Book Sale has a bunch of box sets for massively reduced prices. While many of the deals are for children's books, there are a few fantasy and sci-fi collection deals for adult readers. On the fantasy side, the most notable deal is The Witcher Saga 5-Book Box Set for only $35 (was $90). This is the best price we've seen in a long time for the slipcased paperback set containing all five mainline novels in Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher series. The deal was originally only available to Prime members, but everyone can take advantage of this offer now.

If you're a big fan of CD Projekt Red's games or the TV adaptations on Netflix, this deal is the perfect opportunity to check out the beloved source material. This is great timing for another reason, though. On September 30, the ninth book in the series, Crossroads of Ravens, will be available in English. Fans can preorder the standalone prequel novel at Amazon for $25 (was $30).

Check out the box set as well as The Witcher's story collections and prequel novels below. And if you like science fiction, take a look at Amazon's Prime Day deal on James S.A.
