Self-hosted events management platform?

Hey all,

I'm currently running alf.io for our hackspace events, and it's fine but a little outdated.

There's a lot of work going into v. 2.0 of Alf, which is great to see, but there's no clear migration path and there have been some decisions taken that mean it's less of an easy option to take (removal of MySQL support, install instructions only included for cloud providers rather than running locally etc).

Are there any other tools out there that I can use instead?

Ideally it would have the following features:

  • Installs on Linux (pip, deb, rpm, or tgz, but *NOT* snap!)
  • Runs either as a standalone app or in containers (sometimes we don't have the resources to run containers, we just want the app itself, other times we can run a containerised solution)
  • Allows for recurring events
  • Integrates with Stripe for payments
  • Supports OpenID Connect to enabled members to log in and see specific classes of ticket
  • Has an API for integration with our website

I don't have time to develop this myself, so I'm hoping there's an OSS project out there I can jump on because all the commercial ones want to charge us and we can't afford that!
