Bike light adapter for Anker Bolder LC90 flashlight

Bike light adapter for Anker Bolder LC90 flashlight

I found myself needing a makeshift bike light for my mountain bike that would fit on my existing Nightcore light clamp. The resulting assembly secures, the flashlight snuggly, and with some vibration, dampening courtesy of a rubber bumper integrated into the assembly. Obviously, this design uses non-printed parts as well – some #8 machine screws, nuts, the bumper, and a Velcro strap. Not the most elegant design, but it will work for now.

Art or Lunch Box for Back to School

Art or Lunch Box for Back to School

Kids going back to school soon? Wanted something to entertain this kiddos while we travel besides just screentime, so we printed a Lego-compatible rugged box. Also great as a pencil case or for lunch.

So far it's worked like a charm so they can keep working on their builds in the car, plane rides, or be the cool dudes at school. happy printing!

Towel rack alignment tool

Towel rack alignment tool

Putting up 8 new towel racks and they don’t come with a template or anything to mark the mounting holes. Quick 3D model and print to the rescue. Slips exactly into the bracket location, you place and level the bar, then press it against the wall and it leaves two marks exactly where you need to drill. The markers are two M4x8 screws that I filed to a bit of a point.

Love this kind of quick fix to make life easier!

Clarification about sub rules?

Clarification about sub rules?

I'm seeking clarification on a new policy/rule that seems to have been implemented recently. It appears that users are now being banned for receiving "too many answers" on their posts. I'm a bit confused by this approach and would appreciate some insight.

I’ve reviewed the subreddit rules and couldn’t find anything related to this. Could you explain how this policy works? Specifically, does it mean that if a question gains popularity and attracts a lot of responses, the original poster risks being banned? This doesn't quite make sense to me, so any clarification would be helpful.

Thank you in advance!

u/KinderSpirit should step down as moderator or give a REALLY good justification

Banning people for posting a question not against (even if it's 'beaten to death') with no proper warning, when not against any rules, then permbanning them for posting in other subreddits for valid reasons, and for banning people for posting things controversial to entities they are potentially affiliated with.

This is a forum to share love (and hate) of 3d printing. Mods shouldn't be starting unnecessary drama via trying to censor stuff

Help turn my baby's favorite toy car print into a 3D model

Help turn my baby's favorite toy car print into a 3D model

There's something special about this toy car print on my 4-month-old baby's pillow. Even when he's upset, it catches his attention, and he stops crying just to stare at it with such fascination. Of course, at his age, he can't recognize it as a car—it's likely the bright colors and the playful, cartoonish design that captivate him.

It would mean the world to me if this could become a real toy car for him, with the same whimsical appearance. I'm looking for someone to help me bring this to life by creating a 3D model that I could order a print for, and assemble myself. The size doesn't need to be large—about the length of a palm would be perfect. The more it resembles the design on the pillow, with its charming and funny features, the better. I can already imagine the joy on his face when he's old enough to hold and play with it.

If anyone could help make this a reality, I'd be incredibly grateful.
