Anthropic just released a slew of Claude connectors for the big creative apps — Blender, the Adobe suite, SketchUp, and more — and the hot takes immediately rolled in declaring 3D artists, video editors, and photo retouchers obsolete. Time for a reality check. In this one I take Claude's new MCP integrations on a tour through actual creative work: handing it Blender Guru's famous donut tutorial to recreate from scratch, putting the Adobe Express connection through its paces with a Flamethrower Girl reframe and a white balance pass, and asking SketchUp to design me a one-bedroom apartment.
