Nintendo Switch Mario Kart Bundle Is Only $225 With Black Friday Doorbuster Deal

Nintendo's official Black Friday deals have arrived alongside two very welcome surprises: $75 discounts on the Nintendo Switch OLED and Nintendo Switch holiday bundles at Target and Best Buy. Both bundles include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-Month Switch Online membership. The Switch OLED Mario Kart bundle is available for only $275, while the regular Switch Mario Kart bundle is down to $225.

Black Friday Nintendo Switch Console Bundle Deals

The bundles are part of Best Buy's latest round of Doorbuster deals. At Target, the $75 discount will show up after you add the deal to your cart.

Save $20 on Switch Controllers:

Nintendo Switch consoles without $80 worth of free stuff--Mario Kart 8 Deluxe costs $60, Switch Online is $20--have never received discounts like this from a major retailer, so these Black Friday offers are by far the best Switch console deal we've seen. As such, we wouldn't be surprised to see both retailers sell out soon.

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Is Only $50 For Black Friday, Lowest Price Ever

The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller has finally received an official, substantial discount for Black Friday. It only took seven-plus years for it to happen, but if you've exercised extreme patience, you have finally been rewarded. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is on sale for $20 off at Best Buy, dropping the price from $70 down to $50. Needless to say, this is the best discount ever on the official Switch controller, so we wouldn't be surprised to see this offer sell out before Black Friday sales end.

You can also save $20 on a pair of Neon Red and Blue Joy-Con Controllers. And if you're in the market for a Nintendo Switch console this holiday, Target and Best Buy have ridiculously good deals on the Nintendo Switch holiday bundles. You can get the Nintendo Switch OLED Mario Kart bundle for only $275 or the regular Nintendo Switch Mario Kart bundle for only $225.

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

$50 (was $70)

The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller remains our top pick on our best Switch controllers list all these years later. It's significantly better for docked play than slotting two controllers in the Joy-Con Grip. It also has chunkier face buttons, full-size analog sticks, and larger triggers. It also has a real D-pad, which is a big plus when compared to Joy-Con Controllers.

The Switch Pro Controller is equipped with Nintendo's HD rumble, gyro sensors for motion controls, and has an NFC reader to tap Nintendo's Amiibo figures. Since it's a Bluetooth controller, the Pro Controller also works great on PC, Mac, mobile, Steam Deck, and several other devices. It charges via USB-C and runs for up to 40 hours on a full battery.

The Pro Controller is a great all-around controller with superb ergonomics. It rivals the Xbox Wireless Controller for the title of comfiest controller with offset sticks.

The Switch Pro Controller Black Friday deal is currently available at Best Buy and Target. Walmart will also have this deal starting November 25.

Neon Red and Blue Switch Joy-Con Controllers

$60 (was $80)

If you need a new pair of Joy-Con Controllers for handheld mode or multiplayer, you're in luck: Joy-Con Controllers are also on sale for the lowest price ever. You can grab a pair of Neon Red and Blue Joy-Con Controllers for $60 (was $80) at Best Buy or Target. Walmart will have this promotion on November 25.

As mentioned, the Switch and Switch OLED holiday bundles are up for grabs for $75 off. Both consoles come bundled with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-Month Nintendo Switch Online membership. You're getting $80 worth of "freebies" with each, which is why the holiday bundles typically don't receive outright discounts during Black Friday. These are the best Nintendo Switch deals ever offered by a major retailer.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 For PS5 Gets Biggest Discount Ever For Black Friday

PlayStation's lineup of Black Friday and holiday deals is loaded with discounts on PS5 consoles and VR headsets, DualSense Controllers, and, of course, plenty of console-exclusive games. Most of the PS5 game deals match all-time low prices, but there are a few that have never been this cheap. One of those is Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which is on sale for only $40, a full $30 off its usual $70 price.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2

$40 (was $70)

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was one of the biggest games of 2023, and it often still sells for its full $70 price. Insomniac Games built on the formula from Marvel's Spider-Man and Miles Morales, delivering the biggest and most dynamic open-world adventure starring Spider-Man yet. Well, Spider-Men, as the sequel features both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as playable characters. It's a blast to swing around New York City as either Spider-Man, and each character's unique combat abilities make switching back and forth between them a consistently satisfying experience.

You can get Marvel's Spider-Man 2 for $40 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition

$40 (was $70)

If the PS5 Slim Black Friday deal has caused you to join the PlayStation ecosystem, you'll also want to check out Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which is on sale for only $20 at Best Buy (Amazon is sold out). Miles Morales bridges the gap between the two numbered entries in the series. It's a smaller-scale experience that feels more like a meaty expansion than a brand-new game.

New players will want to opt for the Ultimate Edition, a value pack that includes Miles Morales and Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, a great enhanced version of the 2018 PS4 exclusive. Though PlayStation sells the remaster separately on PSN, it honestly doesn't make sense to buy it this way, not when there's a deal that drops the Ultimate Edition to $40. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered actually costs $10 more than this two-game bundle.

Whether you buy Miles Morales on its own or in the Ultimate Edition, these prices match their all-time lows.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a superb sequel and can be played without knowledge of its predecessors, but you'll miss out on some references to the other games, and the story likely won't feel as impactful. Plus, both of Insomniac's previous Spider-Man games are awesome, too.

More PS5 Game Deals at Amazon & Best Buy

Multiple other PS5 console exclusives are on sale for new low prices, including Astro Bot, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and Rise of the Ronin.

Spider-Verse 4K Collector's Edition Drops To Best Price Yet In Amazon's Black Friday Sale

Spider-Man fans can save big on the awesome Spider-Verse 2-Movie Collector's Edition at Amazon for Black Friday. Originally released last year for $120, Amazon's discount drops the price more than 50%, all the way down to $53. With this deal, you're getting the 4K Collector's Edition for only seven bucks more than the Amazon-exclusive combo pack without the extras. This box set comes with 4K Blu-ray, 1080p Blu-ray, and digital editions of Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse, two of the best superhero and animated movies of all time.

Spider-Verse 2-Movie Collector's Edition is just one of many great Blu-ray box set deals up for grabs in Amazon's Black Friday Sale. You can pair your new Spider-Verse collection with other Spider-Man box set deals, too. Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy starring Tobey Maguire is discounted to only $36 on 4K Blu-ray, and the three most recent Tom Holland-led live-action Spidey flicks are available in a 3-Movie Blu-ray collection for just $23. World Of Warcraft At 20 Is The Same And Increasingly Unrecognizable, And That's By Design

World of Warcraft is celebrating its 20-year anniversary today, November 23, 2024. Below, we talk with key developers about the journey to make the game what it is today, and the future ahead.

Two decades ago, World of Warcraft burst onto the scene and changed gaming forever. The once-niche MMORPG genre became mainstream overnight. Blizzard took ideas that came before in games like Everquest and refined, polished, and further elaborated on them until what was left would appeal to the gaming masses. The result was "WoW" becoming a household name and a cultural phenomenon in a way most video game creators can only dream of, with millions and millions of players willing to pay a $15-a-month subscription to this day for the privilege of continuing their digital adventures in the fantasy world of Azeroth.

It's hardly a surprise the WoW that first launched 20 years ago on November 23, 2004, while technically still the same game, is vastly different to the current version of the MMO players play today. Its most recent expansion alone, The War Within, added account-wide progression and a new endgame activity for solo players, two ideas that would have been unheard of even a decade ago but which have been received with near-universal praise from the game's community.

Activision Addresses Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6's Ranked Play Cheaters

Call of Duty's competitive Ranked Play arrived to Black Ops 6 multiplayer earlier this week, and the mode is already plagued with cheaters. Activision has now addressed the frustration of the playerbase in regards to all the hackers in Ranked Play, and fixes are in the works to improve the game's anti-cheat.

#BlackOps6 #Warzone #RankedPlay#TeamRICOCHET with an update: Ranked Play launched this week and we're on it. While there's lots of work behind the scenes, here are some highlights:

• Adjusting existing…

— Call of Duty Updates (@CODUpdates) November 22, 2024

Call of Duty's Ricochet anti-cheat is active in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, but unsavory players were still managing to flood into Ranked Play mode. Activision says this is partially due to an outage that was identified as lowering Ricochet's efficiency of the AI systems used for cheat detection.

The publisher reveals that the anti-cheat team is working behind the scenes to improve the game's hacking situation. The outage has been fixed, and other measures are being taken to combat the cheating. This includes "aggressive targeting of suspicious accounts" and accelerating the replay investigations to review suspicious players.

Developer GSC World has confirmed that it is already working on the issue, but there's no announced timeline on when an update will arrive. Stalker 2 is littered with technical issues and bugs, and the developer said that it is committed to stamping them out.

Call Of Duty's Future Design Plans Emerge In Leaked Information

According to a new report, Microsoft has created a "new committee" in its Activision division that will make key decisions about the future of the Call of Duty brand. According to TheGhostOfHope, who has accurately reported on unannounced Call of Duty developments in the past, Microsoft's new committee will listen to suggestions from Call of Duty studios like Treyarch and Infinity Ward, but ultimately the committee will decide "features" and "systems" to come in future games.

Godzilla Reportedly Stomping Into Fortnite Very Soon

Godzilla could emerge in a brand-new location soon: Fortnite. A recent report states the King of the Monsters will be part of a new collaboration soon for the mega-popular game, along with the MonsterVerse as a whole.

Well-known Fortnite leaker Shiina stated on X that they've confirmed "Godzilla is coming to Fortnite," corroborating an initial post by SamLeaks that the MonsterVerse collaboration will be seen in Rocket League, too. It's unknown exactly what the possible crossover could entail. Godzilla could be a skin--along with King Kong, for example--but maybe the kaiju actually stomps across the map as a random encounter each match.

This was first posted by @SamLeakss, and I can independently confirm this leak for next season! pic.twitter.com/P2KyKJIEep

If anything, Godzilla would most likely be a part of the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 6, which is planned to start December 1. Before then, Fortnite will hold a Chapter 5 and Remix Finale event that features Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD. Earlier this week, Epic Games talked about the decision to bring Juice WRLD to Fortnite, since the musician died in 2019.
