Is there an easy way of remagnetizing a bunch weakened embedded magnets? 🧲👀

I printed a batch of these 3 parts magnetic fidget clickers that have 9 embedded 6x3mm magnets in each part, and I guess my bed was too hot because the magnets were very weak when I removed the parts from the bed 😞

Internet says it's possible to bring back their original properties by realigning the magnetic domains 👀 (one of the easiest options I found)

"To re-magnetize a weak magnet, you can use a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. Hold the weakened magnet close to the stronger magnet and slowly move it along the length, ensuring the poles are properly aligned. Repeat this process several times to reinforce the magnetic strength of the weak magnet."

So I tried that by using a stronger magnet, but it didn't help and actually made them even worse 😞 not sure what I'm doing wrong... I also tried putting them in a freezer, but it didn't help either.

Does anyone have any experience with that? Some way that worked? 🤞🧲🤔🙏

Are dedicated filament dryers better than cheap food dehydrators?

My modified food dehydrator has >10°c of difference between the two hygrometers. Will a dedicated dryer have more consistent temperature? And will the uneven temperature cause issues?

Fyi this brand has noticable airflow from the bottom which can be felt through the top exhaust holes.

The insanely discounted ender 3's on the used market are a steal if you want raw materials for other projects

Ender mainboards, and printers like them, are literally just arduinos with power in, and 3-4 stepper motor drivers built in, plus some other pre made input/outputs. You can reprogram them with the Arduino IDE to use them for literally ANYTHING you need. If you are a maker/robotics tinkerer, this shit is hella undervalued just because it's in the form factor of a "3d printer". Let's just look at the BOM.

Literally just the parts alone;

Nema 17 steppers: $10 x 3 = $30

24v psu: $20

Aluminum extrusions and other hardware: idk $20?

Most importantly: Mainboard: $40

Total: $110

If you can find an ender for less than $110 it is a steal for whatever project you can think of that needs motors and an arduino.

I have 2 ideas for repurposing old enders and would love to see more ideas showcase the reusability of these machines.
