Just starting this hobby! Accessories holder for a small vacuum. Struggling with some slicer settings, would love feedback! OnShape OrcaSlicer Bambu A1 mini (0.4/T-PEI/PLA basic) I’d like to improve gaps between lines in the same layer and gaps on curved outside surfaces. [link] [comments] |

Pin for bifold closet door
One of my laundry room doors kept falling off the track, so I whipped up a quick model to replace it with a longer pin. Works great! Printed with zero support because, why not. Printing the overhang in midair worked way better than expected and with a little cleanup was good enough :D [link] [comments] |
Simple Print
So a contractor came to fix our garage door that hasn’t been working. He mounted the controller on the wall with exposed wires. It’s low voltage but it’s still an unpleasant sight. So I used the first photo to scale in Fusion360 as a canvas and mocked up a new plate. I filleted the edges and shelled to about 2.5mm and got what you see in the second photo. I forgot to add countersinks into the model so I just counter sunk them with a bit I had in my toolbox. Simple, but functional 🙌🏽 [link] [comments] |

Cobbled together an accessory rack for the A1
Was very surprised by the amount of accessories in the Maker world for A1 mini accessories but very few for A1. Took a model for an ams arm and sliced it in bamboo studio, then added a primitive rounded rectangle, got out the calipers and measured the magigoo bottle. Then imported the model for the scraper and used it as a negative object. This was the second thing that I ever designed in bamboo studio and I rather like it. I've also become quite a fan of adding hot glue as a dampener for rattly pieces. Going to probably put some on the arm so that it doesn't shake during more hexagonal prints. [link] [comments] |
Trash bag dispenser for Sam’s Club/Costco 13 gallon bags
Got sick of putting shoes on to run to the shelves where the box o’ bags was stored so I printed this! No room under the sink so it went in the garage right next to the door. [link] [comments] |
Guitar Pick That I'll Never Drop Again
I made this guitar pick because I keep dropping my ones and it costs like $0.01 to print. I made it with a grip pattern which noticeably makes it more grippy and it has the same flexibility as my picks. Its 0.5mm thick and takes about 6 min to print with my print profile. You can print it here: [link] [comments] |
