I asked for a Biblically-accurate depiction of Hell. Here's what I got:

Please create an image of a biblically accurate Hell. Based on references from the Bible; do not use visual references to Dante's "Inferno".

The image presents a vision of Hell drawn strictly from biblical descriptions—no Dantean elements—to evoke the scene of unending torment:

  • Fiery Landscape & Lake of Fire: A vast abyss dominated by roaring flames and pools of molten fire, reflecting passages like Revelation 20:14–15, where Death and Hades are thrown into the lake of fire.
  • Wailing Figures: Silhouettes of anguished souls kneeling or writhing, capturing “weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 8:12, 22:13; 25:30).
  • Dark Smoke & Ashes: Thick clouds of black smoke swirl overhead, reminiscent of Revelation 14:11: “And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever.”
  • Chains & Confinement: Jagged, rocky formations studded with iron chains binding certain figures, alluding to Luke 8:29, where unclean spirits are bound before being cast out, symbolizing that in Hell, the wicked are held captive.
  • Inescapable Gloom: Though the flames blaze bright, the overall tone is oppressive and hopeless, matching Isaiah 34:10: “Night and day it shall not be quenched; its smoke shall go up forever.”
  • Colour Palette: Dominated by deep reds, oranges, and blacks to convey searing heat and unending darkness (Revelation 21:8 contrasts the “second death” with “outer darkness,” but here the focus is on the fiery torment).

Together, these elements form a composite visual rooted in biblical imagery—flames, eternal smoke, torment, and captivity—highlighting that this Hell is not a tiered realm with poetic punishments, but a singular, inescapable pit of fire and sulfur, where the lost endure perpetual anguish.

Mythomech: Kingdom Come but make it Fallout, with a twist of Cyberpunk.

Mythomech: Kingdom Come but make it Fallout, with a twist of Cyberpunk.

Mythomech: Mythomech is a visual style that merges the sacred weight of ancient warrior mythology with the technological body of a post-human survivor. It depicts armored figures not as nostalgic echoes of chivalry, but as living relics of a collapsed world, integrated with circuitry, charged by memory, and reforged through necessity. The aesthetic is solemn, mythic, and intimidating.

Stylistic Pillars

  1. Medieval Gravitas

Forms drawn from Gothic plate armor, knightly silhouettes, and sacred relics

Symbolism over fashion: coats-of-arms, sacred geometry, warrior rites

Capes, sashes, emblems, and sacred inscriptions

Static power: figures often posed like statues or saints

  1. Post-Human Survival

Armor is battle-worn, scratched, scorched by radiation or biochemical decay

Implied catastrophe: the world has ended, but this knight remained

Backgrounds: ruined temples, scorched wastelands, cyber-crypts, plasma-blasted ruins

Aura of solemn endurance: a mythology that refused to die

  1. Augmentation

Holographic sigils, neural circuits, glowing joints and helmets

Eyes replaced by data, torsos powered by arcane energy cores

Swords are frequency blades; armor plates contain biometric sensors

Power is not external — it’s fused, surgically or symbolically

Color Palette

Primary Base: Gunmetal black, bronze, dark steel

Accent Glow: Electric blue, neon cyan, ultraviolet, amber rune-light

Environment: Ash grey, scorched earth, void black, blood-rust red

Light: Often top-lit or backlit; cinematic chiaroscuro preferred

Ask for a text description and generate a picture based on the reply

Begin with the following prompt: "Provide me an extremely detailed visual paragraph, including lots of small details, describing a <subject> <situation>"

Start a new prompt with "Create a hyper-realistic picture without painterly effects based on the following description:" and then paste the results of the first section into the prompt.

I'm interested to see the "creativity" of AI throughout the creation process.

Elder Scrolls Fanfic covers and art

Elder Scrolls Fanfic covers and art

I write Elder Scrolls Fanfiction and have for a hell of a long time (16 years and counting.) And in the past couple of weeks I've decided to give it a shot with some of my stories.

My long term plans were to eventually have all my works printed and professionally bound so I could stick them on my bookcase and have something for my kids. As they're all fanfics I can't get them published and I'm not going to be a wanker and go down the <strong>50 Shades of Grey</strong> path by replacing just enough names and whatnot to claim them all as "original" works.

950k words and counting without a single ounce of AI assistance beyond what Microsoft Word's spell check can provide but before my only option would be to track down visual artists or the like to do the art I'd need for the books. I've looked into commissions and stuff over the past 8 or so years but it was going to be a slog to get what I wanted.

But then I started making book covers, and then tried copy and pasting paragraphs of my actual writing directly into ChatGpt and see what it spat out.

I was amazed and wanted to share it somewhere and this place looked to be the best spot. The first 7 pics are the book covers, the rest are what Chatgpt spat out after I copy pasted chunks of my stories into it.

Hope everyone enjoys these as much as I did. 😁
