🎄 Just Finished My Impossible Passthrough Christmas Tree! 🎄

I recently uploaded a festive design that I'm super excited about – it’s an Impossible Passthrough Christmas Tree! 🌲 Imagine a little tree that looks like a magic trick. The whole idea was inspired by holiday decor but with a fun, twist. I made it so that it seems to defy logic, making it an awesome centerpiece for Christmas gatherings or just a quirky gift. 😊

I’ve uploaded the files on Makerworld for anyone who wants to give it a try!

Designing a Semi-Automatic Elastic Gun in Fusion 360 Printed!

Designing a Semi-Automatic Elastic Gun in Fusion 360 Printed!

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on this project for a while now, and I finally had the courage to finish it. This all started as a random idea, I wanted to replicate a semi-automatic mechanism but make it fun, so I thought, “Why not an elastic gun?”

I decided to design the whole thing in Fusion 360. At first, getting the mechanism for semi-auto firing was the trickiest part. I had to figure out how to create a trigger mechanism that could handle multiple shots with elastic bands without resetting it manually each time. After a few failed prototypes, I finally cracked the system, and the elastic bands fired off smoothly with each trigger pull(I may have stolen some inspiration online).

Then came the aesthetics. I modelled it after a Sig Sauer P320, which meant I had to balance form and function. It had to look good but also be ergonomic enough to actually hold and fire comfortably. The final version came together many iterations later, and I’m pretty stoked about how it looks and works.

Anyone else here designing custom stuff in Fusion 360? Would love to hear about your own projects!

Experimenting with Precision in My Latest Print!

Just finished up a project that required some serious precision, and I’m blown away by how well it turned out! The details and functionality are on point, especially with parts that need to rotate smoothly and lock into place. It’s fascinating to see how a 3D printer can handle even the smallest adjustments with such accuracy. If you’re into designing tools or gadgets that need precise movement and measurements, it’s definitely worth exploring similar projects.

Happy printing!

Just wrapped up a cool 3D printing project and I'm thrilled with the results! The precision and detail are incredible, especially for something that combines practicality and portability. It's amazing what you can achieve with a 3D printer these days. If you're into creating useful, compact items, I highly recommend giving it a try. There's nothing like holding a finished product that you designed and printed yourself!
