Need help with design - sliding parts in box

Hello! I am needing help on designing some sliding parts that go inside a box. It's basically a slider that will move a plate up on a box. I first tried using cylinder in some slots as a "guide rail" but figured out that it the slide could rotate out of place. I then tried to have one side be a T to prevent that. There is still a ton of slop and it catches. Any help on how to better handle this would be great! On the other side of the box, I have a larger plate that uses 2 T-posts in the same way with a spring on the back. It is catching even more.

250g of miniatures from 1Kg of resin

17 Septiembre 2024 at 09:35

Finished my first bottle of resin. Between learning a bit, and having a few troubles which cause failed prints (not sticking to the build plate), with my fisrt 1 Kg of resin I ended up making 30 or 40 miniatures with their bases. In total it's around 250g of "good miniatures" while 750g went wasted between supports, mistakes and uncured but wasted resin.

Does anyone keep some stats on what is the waste ratio when things run smooth? (I guess I could sort of double the positive number getting to a 50-50 ratio)

I print 28 and 32 mm figures so maybe there's more waste due to the supports and rafts for small figures (but I don't see myself trying a large print anytime soon)

Wireless Charger Mount for 2024 Fia Forte

Designed a wireless phone charger mount that snaps into the existing phone slot of a 2024 Kia Forte.

I used this USB-C fast charging wireless charging puck from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D4H29BQY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Print-in-Place Spouted Screw-on lid with Snap-Fit Flip-Cap

Print-in-Place Spouted Screw-on lid with Snap-Fit Flip-Cap

I bought 4 sauces of this brand I like. But they come with a normal screw cap that leave you with a giant opening for you with no way to control adequately control flow and distribution of the sauces on your food.

So, I utilized my CAD and 3D printing skills and came up with this.

The spout diameter and the mating 'plug' is parametric. So I have different spout sizes caps for different sauces viscosities and flow control preferences. For ranch (the one in the video), I like to have precise flow and control to evenly and lightly distribute it on my pizza 🍕 and sandwiches 🥪.
